Extreme Networks is growing! We're looking for a Senior Salesforce.com Developer who will be a key member of the CRM team delivering scalable, innovative applications on the Extreme's instance of SFDC.
Design, Develop, Test and Manage complex applications on SalesForce.com platform, including technical designing, coding, debugging, performance analysis, packaging
Design and Develop Customizations, Coding on SalesForce.com platform
Design and Develop complex integrations using SOAP and REST API Web Services
Work closely with business analysts to realize the full capabilities of Salesforce.com CRM and how it can be best applied to meet the needs of a rapidly growing, global user community
Ability to understand and interpret business requirements and communicate effectively with the team/business.
Work as a member of a project team developing Apex, Visualforce, new functionality and enhancing existing functionality. Design and deploy high quality, scalable code
Lead and/or contribute to all technical aspects of IT projects, including writing technical and functional specification documents
Ensure that documentation of code, as well as application use and flow, is accurate and well written
Perform routine review of code, configuration, data, and usage to ensure long term viability, integrity, and adoption
Handle numerous projects/priorities using proven project management methodologies and sound development practices to ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions
BS/MS in Computer Science or MIS
7+ years of development experience with 5+ years of experience developing and managing applications on the Force.com platform
Demonstrated deep technical knowledge with the following,
Visual Force, Apex controllers, Triggers, APIs, Governor limits, Web Services and Batch Jobs.
com, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, PRM, Communities and Salesforce Integrations.
com data model and how and when to create custom objects vs. using Salesforce out-of-the-box functionality
Understanding of object-oriented concepts and design patterns
Proficient in SFDC Administrative tasks
Experience with CPQ platforms (like BigMachines, SteelBrick) is a plus
Integration experience with Oracle ERP is a plus
Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
Salesforce Certified Force.com Developer, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
Proficiency with Force.com IDE like MavensMate, Eclipse or Welkin Suite
Experience using source control system (Git, Bitbucket or SVN)
This position will be based at either our Salem, NH site (near Boston, MA) or our site in Research Triangle Park, Raleigh/Durham/Cary, NC area. There is no budget for relocation, and qualified local candidates are encouraged to apply.
